Highlights of Foundation Laws

Legal and fiscal regulations around foundations and philanthropy across Europe are complex and can be difficult to navigate, especially when several countries both in and outside the EU are involved. The Philanthropy Advocacy initiative – led by Dafne and the EFC (now Philea) – briefed us to create a comprehensive guide that would give a clear, explanatory overview.

With an extensive 120-page report we achieved this by splitting the guide into two parts. A deep dive into to the current situation by leading experts and a section breaking down each activity into charts that make it easy to see the rules for each country.
